Sir,

With reference to your letter of the 31st ultimo,

and previous correspondence regarding the case of the man

above named, I have to acquaint you, for the information

of Mr Secretary Chamberlain, that arrangements have been

made for Mr Davidson to go to Trinity Church, Chelsea,

and obtain a certificate of the marriage of Frederick

Gilbert Hanson and Minnie Weston, which he will compare

with the register. He will also be supplied with a

certified copy from the marriage registers at Somerset

House, as required by the Crown Solicitor for Hong Kong.
